Product Information & Safety Guidelines
Storage, handling, safety, and usage information for Megafix chemical products.
Storage Conditions
To ensure the maximum performance and stability of Megafix chemicals, they must be stored in a clean, controlled, and secure environment. The products must be stored at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C. Excessive heat, direct exposure to sunlight, and freezing conditions may adversely affect the chemical stability, quality, and performance of the products.
Fire Safety Statement
Megafix chemicals are Non-Flammable products. Under normal conditions, they do not produce a flammable reaction when exposed to heat, sparks, or fire. Based on their chemical composition, the products are considered safe with regard to the risk of ignition and are regarded as FIRE-SAFE in accordance with applicable industrial standards. There is no significant risk or likelihood of fire during their proper storage and use.
Safety and Alertness
Except for Megafix QuickRust-X02, no toxic or flammable ingredients are used in the other Megafix products. Keep all products out of the reach of children to prevent accidental exposure. In case of contact with the eyes or mouth, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. Seek prompt medical advice if necessary.
Directions for Use
Suitable for use in basements, retaining walls, floors, floor hardeners, tiles, water tanks, culverts, bridges, flyovers, slabs, beams, piping, superstructures, columns, grade beams, roofs, roof slabs, swimming pools, reservoirs, subways, underground structures, elevator pits, plastering, masonry, and various other construction applications.
Usage Quantity
The required dosage may vary depending on the environment of residential buildings, projects, or construction sites, as well as the type of work, application area, and specific application requirements. Generally, 100–250 mL per bag of cement is recommended, while up to 400 mL per bag may be used depending on the specific requirements and application conditions.
Packing Size
Megafix chemical products are supplied in 5, 10, 20, 200, and 250-liter cans/drums.
Expiration Date
When stored properly under the recommended storage conditions, the products remain usable for up to 2 years from the date of manufacture.
